Death by Secrets is the story of the murder of Ty Underwood by Carlton Champion and the love story of Carlton and Ty . Neither of these true stories turns out well for Ty.

Carlton Champion is convicted of Murder and sentenced to Life . Ty Underwood was a transgender woman, which Carlton was not aware of. When he found out he was terrified of what his teammates would think and do.


TV One describes this episode in Season five as Detectives investigate the discovery of a beautiful nursing student found shot to death inside her car..

Opinion

There's outrage in the LGBTQ community about how trans women are being killed in droves. This is simply not true. Many are killed working as prostitutes, when prostitutes get killed on a regular basis. In this instance the murder was solved and the killer convicted. Don't believe the hype. This is a sensetive topic, but know the facts. If you are trans, be honest about your status when dating.

    The author must be a friend of Carlton or something because we saw what happened on the ID Channel. We saw his interrogation. That POS wasn’t terrified and he did know she was trans. They had started a relationship. Get your facts straight.

    I am stunned by this post. Not only are your facts grossly incorrect but you are encouraging people to write to Ty's murderer and send him money via JPay? Wow. Where is your empathy and compassion? He lied about everything. He knew Ty was transgender. He knew it all along. He just didn't want a serious relationship with her. He didn't need to kill her.     He obviously want truthful at some point. If assigned a different sex at birth, you have to disclose that information. His mom was even referring him in a male tense at the funeral. So he couldn't have been that truthful. Nothing against LGBTQ, just be honest for your safety and be careful

    I am truly upset about this whole post that was typed up about this young man Carlton. He knew what her gender was plus he had sex with her on many occasions plus he spent nights with her. U guys portrayed him as the victim that acted out of rage because she meaning Ty didn't reveal her true gender to him. What abut her family her friends but most importantly what about her life. Then u tell the people that they can reach out to him to write him or to send him money. U guys are wrong as hell. Excuse my language but Fuck Carlton. No disrespect to Ty because from what I saw she was a very good kind and hard working person.     He knew what was up and was embarrassed and ashamed that he's gay and into transgender men. That's the bottom line. My motto is,"don't do it if you are going to be ashamed own that shit"
    Don't take someone's life because you are in denial about who you are to yourself, family, friends, and society. This angers me because we shouldn't be posting on his death and his careless actions. Now he has the opportunity to live that life he was afraid of someone finding out because life in person oh you somebody's woman now lol.
