When the Smoke Clears is the story of the murder of Keiona Braxton by Kayla C. Armstrong and the love story of Kenneth Lee and Keiona Braxton. Neither of these true stories turns out well for Keiona
Kayla C. Armstrong is convicted of attempted capital murder and solicitation to commit capital murder and sentenced to 30 years. She attempted to have Kenneth Lee killed in 2013 so the madness continues. There is no indication that Kenneth encouraged the women to fight, or that he continued to be involved with Kayla.

TV One describes this episode in Season five as Keiona Braxton's body is discovered amidst the ashes of what appears to be an accidental fire but morphs into an obsession..
